This webinar is targeted at Librarians who deal with collections management and acquisitions as well as Researchers of Geography in its broadest sense in addition to Professors and Lecturers who teach various disciplines of Geography to either year 1 students or those completing their PhD.
This webinar introduces you to the Collections of the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) and will help you to understand the value of the Society’s 2-million strong Collections for student research and teaching purposes, as presented through Wiley Digital Archives.
You will receive access to a first-hand look at the archive’s digitisation process and the potential of the Society’s Collections to enhance teaching and research opportunities in your institution.
With an international focus to the archive, Alasdair MacLeod introduces the scope of these internationally important Collections and identifies key potential research. Alasdair will also point to the importance and relevance of the Collections for wider academic study in associated and allied subject fields, beyond the discipline of geography.
Please note that certificates will be issued to participants who attended the live session.
