Completed a master's program at Tohoku University Graduate School of Agriculture. Completed a master's program in composition communication from Eastern Michigan University, USA. After working as a life science editor and publishing manager at the academic publishing company Wiley Japan, he was a freelance author of articles related to science and publishing. Serialized articles include "A Journey around Writing English Scientific Papers" (Chemistry Doujin/Monthly "Chemistry" 2015-2016), "Humble University Writing Education" (Journal of the Japanese Society of Agricultural Chemistry "Chemistry and Biology" 2019). Engaged in internationalization support and science writing seminars at university research institutions throughout Japan.
