A recent poll that we conducted with APAC librarians suggested that 49% of the respondents had a change in their job roles and responsibilities due to the pandemic, largely due to the closure of physical libraries and a surge in demand for online library services.
Operations have been modified with essential services in place and librarians also have to cope with working from home. That got us thinking, what would the future of workplace in libraries look like in the next two to five years?
With Dr. Sander's expertise in The Future of Work project, she will be sharing her knowledge and insights on how academic libraries could transform.
Moderator: Katsu Arai, Director, Library Sales, APAC, Wiley; Panelists: Diana Chan, University Librarian, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Dr. Sadie-Jane Nunis, President, Library Association of Singapore, Janet Fletcher, University Librarian, Victoria University of Wellington
