Roxanne is University Librarian and Director of Scholarly Information Services at the Australian National University. She remains an optimist about the role of libraries and publishers despite the challenges and competitors in the networked online era. She has enjoyed the opportunities in roles including Parliamentary Librarian, Assistant Director General, Resource Sharing Division at the National Library of Australia and President of the Australian Library and Information Association. A Fellow of ALIA, she has been awarded the ANU Vice Chancellors Award for Innovation in Service, a Nominee 100 Years 100 Women – ACT and been a Finalist in the Telstra Business Womens’ Award, ACT.
