Nigel Andrew is a Professor of Entomology at the University of New England, Armidale. His research assesses insect responses (ecological, behavioural and physiological) to global change using lab and field experiments; as well as assessing responses along environmental gradients.

Nigel is also currently Editor-in-Chief of Austral Ecology, Section Editor for PeerJ, and the Australian representative member on the INTECOL board.
