Elaine is also Editor-in-Chief for Geographical Research, one of the Wiley journals. She also serves on several other journal editorial boards, is the lead editor of a book series on islands with Rowman & Littlefield International, and has over 230 public outputs to her name, including two research monographs, three edited collections, 22 book chapters, and 48 refereed papers in scholarly journals. Elaine has extensive experience in both fundamental research and studies for all three tiers of government. In very different ways, her key focus has been to ask, “over the whole of the lifecourse, in place and on the move, what do we need to flourish in communities that care for people and the more-than-human world?”
