Maja is a PhD student at the Department of Library and Information Science and Book studies. Her current research focuses on the use of eye-tracking method for evaluating and designing bibliographic information systems. She is interested in exploration of complementarity of different methods and discovering their unique benefits for improving the website’s user experience. By comparing other methods to eye-tracking she is searching for patterns in the data, which can validate eye-tracking as a tool for evaluating user experience. She holds a master’s degree in library science, in which she focused on the academic librarians’ view on open access.
