Lyndal Macpherson is the Chief Executive Officer of the Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine, appointed in February 2016. Lyndal has over 25 years’ experience in the medical imaging industry with extensive experience in both clinical and corporate healthcare. Lyndal has held multiple management and leadership roles in product and service provision in the delivery of healthcare, and currently sits on the board of a registered healthcare charity. Lyndal has lectured, written multiple articles within the ultrasound field and has presented at major conferences, events and training both in Australia and within the Asia Pacific region. Lyndal has a passion for the profession of ultrasound with a focus on standards and patient outcomes and is an Accredited Medical Sonographer (AMS). In addition to this she is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
