Gary is the founder of Geri and The Nature of, and splits his time between these ventures. Geri is focused on helping universities grow societal and industry capabilities, and The Nature of is a start-up focused on the societal and commercial value of the human relationship with nature (Gary’s own field of research). He is an Honorary Senior Fellow at the University of Melbourne, and former Director with KPMG. Gary has over 25 years experience working with leading advisory firms and in industry, often at the forefront of issues relating to innovation, growth, research and investment. His story includes being dad to two girls, dogsledding in remote Alaska and spending 8 years as a volunteer guide at Melbourne Zoo.
