Editor in Chief Cochrane Library
David has been the Editor in Chief at Cochrane since 2009. He was a General Practitioner in the UK until 2003, when he moved to the BMJ ‘Knowledge’ department – initially as Deputy Editor of Clinical Evidence, moving on to become Editorial Director. Within Cochrane, David leads a team based in London, but he is also responsible for all the published content produced by Cochrane, and the strategic development of the Cochrane Library. He oversees the work of the 52 Cochrane Review Groups and the 17 Methods Groups.
