Dr. Mandy Matthewson is a senior lecturer in the School of Psychological Sciences at the University of Tasmania. She is also a senior clinical psychologist working in private practice. Dr. Matthewson is the lead researcher in the Family and Interpersonal Relationship Research Lab at UTAS, Chair of an international research committee and Editor in Chief of a professional magazine in her area of research focus. Dr. Matthewson has been the lead or co-lead of a number of research projects of national and international significance in the area of family relationships, family violence and parental alienation. She also supervises postgraduate research students and psychology interns and registrars. Dr. Matthewson teaches into the professional postgraduate training programs in psychology in the areas of psychological assessment, ethics and professional practice.
