Monika Sobocan, MD is a medical researcher and educator dividing her time between the University Medical Centre Maribor, Slovenia and the Queen Mary University of London, UK. She is a medical doctor with over 5 years of experience in conducting quantitative and qualitative research. She has communicated the findings of her research in high impact-factor journals. She is highly involved in providing and evaluating medical education and serves on committees for technology enhanced learning in Europe. Her scientific interests are research in preventative and predictive medicine within the disciplines of oncology and female health. Monika has been recognized for her scientific work by a prestigious national fellowship for women in science.
