Cochrane Library: What’s new
About this webinar
This webinar is targeted to those who are not familiar with the Cochrane Library (beginners) and to those who consider themselves regular users or superusers and may not be up to date with the last developments. This is appropriate for researchers, librarians, faculty, and health-care professionals.
This webinar will help you learn about the latest updates and new enhancements on the Cochrane Library platform.
An overview of the content available in the Cochrane Library will be covered, highlighting the new or modified content: Cochrane Systematic Reviews, CENTRAL trials, Clinical Answers, Editorials, Special Collections and new Systematic Reviews from Epistemonikos. This will include definitions and key characteristics for each, sample topics, and specific examples in some cases.
There is also a number of enhancements in the user experience that have taken place in the last year, through new functionalities, changes in the look and feel, and new features, that contribute to a more user-friendly experience. Alejandra will illustrate through examples how these work and how they can be beneficial for users when accessing the Cochrane Library.
