Gulcin Cribb, currently Chair of the Academic and Research Libraries Section of International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA), is an experienced global library leader, having worked at nine different universities in four different countries, Australia, UK, Turkey and Singapore. Gulcin’s most recent position was as the University Librarian at Singapore Management University (2012-2020) where she was involved in establishing a new Law Library and managing university’s art collections. She has been involved in numerous projects including introduction of new service models, new technologies, new buildings and renovations as well as extensive staff development and educational programmes. Gulcin is passionate about community engagement and collaboration with stakeholders. Gulcin is an Associate member of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) and Library Association of Singapore. She is actively involved in professional mentoring programmes both in Australia and internationally.
