Gabi leads the research support services team at the library of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). She is also a researcher; she obtained a doctoral degree (EdD) using a project on leadership development in academic libraries. Her works and publications span across leadership, career development, information literacy teaching and students' intellectual development, library learning space management, and research data support in libraries.
