Esther completed her Ph.D. in supramolecular chemistry at Cambridge University (UK) in 1997. She then joined the Advanced Materials editorial team (Wiley-VCH, Germany) where she was appointed Editor-in-Chief in 2002. In 2007, Esther relocated to Sydney to take up the position of Senior Commissioning Editor for Wiley’s physical sciences book, journal and society publishing program in the Asia-Pacific region. She returned to the Advanced family of journals in 2011, where she is currently Editor-in-Chief of Advanced Materials Technologies as well as Consulting Editor for Wiley’s flagship journals Advanced Materials and Small, the premium open-access general science journal Advanced Science and the new open-access journal Advanced Intelligent Systems.
