David del Álamo is a molecular biologist by training with a PhD on developmental genetics. After two postdoctoral stays in the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York and the Pasteur Institute in Paris, David became a scientific editor for The EMBO Journal a role that he developed for 5 years. Since early 2016 David is the head of the Fellowship Programme at EMBO.
