Partnership, innovation and future research and publication

Artificial intelligence (AI) research, which has been spotlighted in recent years, is expected to realize innovation in various fields in the future. It is expected that the impact will extend to academic research and publication, and trials that have sprung up are already emerging. Another major trend related to research and publication is open access/open science. The nationwide open access agreement between Germany's Projekt DEAL and Wiley, announced in March of this year, was based on a new model called Publish and Read (PAR), which attracted worldwide attention. Such movements show that collaboration among stakeholders, such as the research community, research funding agencies, and publishers, opens up new possibilities in the distribution of academic information. With this background, Wiley will hold a seminarwith a central theme of "Partnership and Innovation" about the new developments that will bring to research and publication Hideyuki Nakajima, who is known as the leading AI researcher in Japan. We invite leaders of various fields, such as the president of City University, to discuss.

Target audience:

- Those who play a leading role in the academic society, such as chairman and director
- Those involved in editing academic journals
- Those involved in university management, especially in terms of research promotion and support
- Persons involved in academic papers such as corporate MA/MSL departments

In addition, we would also like to invite those who are interested in trends in research and publication, such as university faculty and librarians.
